109th Annual Meeting – Town of Bayview
April 19th, 2022
Don Jenicek Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Attendance: Ella Cross, Lorraine Norgard, Carly Stephenson, Butch Warren, Nicola & Bob Cuty, Mel, Brad & Zeke Olson, Mike Yonan, Susan Raasch, Linda Jorgenson, Paul Johnson, Kim Suske, Paul Norris, Mike Kasino, Kelly Warren, Bill Bodin and Mike Garnich.
Copies of the 108th Annual Meeting minutes and 2021 Financial Statement were made available.
Review 108th Annual Meeting minutes.
Motion was made by Brad Olson seconded by Mike Yonan to dispense with the reading of the 108th Annual Minutes. 19 yes 0 no. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Carly Stephenson seconded by Bill Bodin to approve 108th Annual Meeting
Minutes as presented. 19 yes 0 no. Motion carried.
2021 Financial Report was reviewed.
Motion by Mike Yonan seconded by Brad Olson to approve as presented. 19 yes 0 no. Motion carried.
New business –
Don Jenicek reported on the mold damage to the basement of the town hall. We have taken remedial action and are now going to install rain gutters, change the basement entrance, do some sheet rock and painting downstairs.
Mike Yonan noted that we should be looking into budgeting for a new boiler in 2022.
Don Jenicek noted that Wanda Hyde, the Town Clerk, will not be on the ballot in April 2023. Wanda Hyde noted that she has some interest, but the pay is too small and needs to be adjusted. Board will investigate this in November.
The 110th Annual Meeting is set for April 18th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.
Town picnic is scheduled for June 11th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The town will provide the brats, buns and drinks. This will be a potluck event.
The Spring Dumpster Day will be held on May 21st, 2022, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Linda Jorgenson wanted to thank you to the Town Board, Clerk and Treasurer for a great job. Motion to adjourn was made by Brad Olson seconded by Paul Johnson.
